The last couple of days have been rough. On Monday afternoon I took my outdoor kitty ( he was nobodys cat and people around here were unkind to him so I took him in my yard..could not have him in the house for obvious reasons...and looked after him as best I could for several years. A feral cat, it took a long time to get him to trust me. First, to get him not to run away when I came outside. Well eventually he decided I was ok and not to be feared. After awhile, he would let me pet him a little. finally within this last year, he would let me pick him up but NOT take him in the house....well the little guy got in a bad fight and got an abscess. I thought I could get some antibiotics for him but California law prohibits providing medicne to any animal not seen by the vet. So I took him in. Ol Buffy had cardiomyopathy as well but worst of all he tested + for feline leuk. and feline aids..so I had to put him to sleep. The saddest thing of all is that originally he was a pet in the neighborhood but the father of the household did not want pets do he DUMPED the cat. Buffy then turned feral and it took a long time to win him over. Had he been given to someone he would have been a wonderful pet as he had a really sweet personality, never hissed or batted at me or scratched me. So that is why you haven't seem me for the past couple of days....

One thing I can say about Anne .. she doesn't beat around the bush .. she just says it like it is .. lol
Indeed, Depends undergarments would be a necessity on the high court, as justices struggled with whether that feeling in their bellies meant they had to go to the bathroom or needed to burp
Did I ever mention my sister has 3 kidney's
In response to this law, Justice Kennedy expounded on William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" "the most famous pair of teen-age lovers." He continued: "The right to think is the beginning of freedom, and ... speech is the beginning of thought."
Oh, cut it out.
... In addition to Shakespeare, Kennedy claims that if Congress were permitted to outlaw virtual images of children in explicit sex scenes, movies like "Traffic" and "American Beauty" might be made differently. "Legitimate movie producers," Kennedy anxiously warns, might not "risk distributing images in or near the uncertain reach of this law."
Justice William Rehnquist points out in his dissent that both "American Beauty" and "Traffic" were made (and given awards) while this precise child porno law was on the books. Not only that, but during that time, four of five federal appeals courts were upholding the law. As Rehnquist says: "The chill felt by the court ... has apparently never been felt by those who actually make movies."
Moreover, the actress who played a teen-age girl in the crucially important simulated sex scene in "Traffic" was not, in fact, a minor. (Why does no one ever say, "'Casablanca' was a good movie but what it really needed was simulated sex scenes with kids"?)
Oh I missed it .. will have to catch the second airing
I always thought that about Casablanca....
