Bear made a brilliant daylight raid on the garbage can this morning while I was away. Same can, same trash, same result except he decided to save energy and not drag the can quite so far up the hill.

He is testing your perimeter, probing for weaknesses.

It might be time to store something overnight in the trash can, that would be unappealing to his nose. Like maybe some of that English Leather that you drink, and bathe in.
