LOL!!!!!
Hubby turned the AC on here last night - but the system needs a charge, so we wasted a lot of electricity for no cooling at all.
All kinds of temperature records were broken around here yesterday.
Found our dream home when we were in VA yesterday - now I just have to sell this place and find a piece of property to put the house on.

You are actually moving your home with you? Of course, that would be a lot easier than packing. LOL!

While I am gone next week, I am having the AC guys out to my place. Apparently you turn on the AC now, and it just keeps chilling and chilling and chilling! It doesn't recognize the thermostat. LOL

Actually, without a working fluid (the refrigerant), your compressor isn't compressing anything. The only energy you wasted was running the fan and cycling the (unloaded) compressor - pittance in comparison to the amount of power normally required.
