A missed middle of the night post!

Strange...it showed up in my Hobbit Hole sidebar this morning. I would have pinged the ringers but I thought it showed up in their sidebars too.

Having traveled past Salt Lake City, I have to say that I think that the Shire is a little greener than that. One thing though, driving west through the Salt Lake Desert towards Nevada, the jagged black mountains west of the state line were almost exactly as I pictured the mountains surrounding Mordor!
