Are you proposing "White Flight"? It's been done in many cities. Perhaps the suburbs should have been called "refugee camps."

Nope. That just changes demographics, and leaves even MORE of the country under Anti-American control. Just ask Detroit about that. And it still doesn't prevent the Collectivists from enslaving you.

To make the point that I was wondering about, a significant amount of Pilgrims would need to completely leave the country. And in so doing, the idea WOULD spread.

Swervie, I have been meaning to read Atlas Shrugged, but I haven't read it yet.

Of course, if white conservatives WERE to start leaving here, and this nation took a nose-dive, I am SURE it would somehow be the fault of the people who had the foresight to get out while the getting out is good. We would be trying to escape Collectivists, but you know, that they would never blame themselves for their follies.

In the case of the settlement of America the Pilgrims had a destination that was even better (potentially) than the homes they left. This is beautiful, productive, vast land - not an ocean, not a desolate moon. They believed that God had led them here and would bless their efforts with success and bounty. They encountered hostility and stormy weather and starvation, but the survivors persevered because they had faith coupled with "no choice." Later, their descendents would face the same trials at Valley Forge.

Do you think a new settlement by this generation would survive as long as there was an option to leave if the going got tough? Would people DIE (and witness the deaths of their wives and mothers) rather than give up the dream? Will God place such a dream in our hearts? There is no instant gratification in such a movement.

Man, now I'm thinking. Why did you start that?

What is our place as freedom-loving Americans in this changing world? The course of civilization could pivot with any generation - do we need to make a sharp turn now? If that is our duty in this place and time, then flight might be a temptation away from our purpose.
America is reclaimable, but not until we are ready to sacrifice ourselves for future generations, just as the founders had done. There will be no instant gratification, and knowledge of victory may be by faith rather than as witnesses in our lifetime.
However, if we dare to see it, knowledge of defeat is already clear as we look ahead on our present course.
Despair is in the status quo - hope lies elsewhere. Who can plot the path back to liberty and honor? Do we retrace the previous steps? Do we rely on the old dream, or is there another one for us? Once the vision is captured, how do we help make it real? Where is our Valley Forge to hone the steely determination that will end liberal tyranny?
Give me liberty or give me death
