True it doesn't make the whole market a lie .. but the stories I have heard .. many companies do play with the numbers like Arthur Anderson did
Might explain some reasons why the market is a little jumpy these days ..
Yes, it is. White Conservatives are a new phenomenon, a wealthy refuge population. If some decided to move to the new generation of Cruise Ships / Floating Condos, they ca well aford to buy the latest in military equipment to protect themselves, Aegis Cruisers, submarines, an Aircraft Carrier if necessary. They are also capable of corrupting any government necesary to gain access to these items.

Nice try.
Why do you think that Atlas wanted to trick Hercules?? He was tired of supporting the vault of the sky.
I am tired of supporting people who hate me and are actively seeking to subvert this country and bring about it's demise from within.
THEY need US, WE don't need THEM. If we left, 50 years from now, we oculd come back and live here because the Leftists would have corralled the Human sheep into cities forbidding them to raise food and despoil nature. They would surely mismanage themselves into starvation.
There is a BIG difference between leaving of your own volition, and slinking away in retreat.
OK .. That I can agree with and you are right .. they need us more then we need them

You certainly understand the plot of Atlas Shrugged, even if you haven't read it.

It is all a matter of degree. If YOU feel free enough, then I am glad for you. But bear in mind, we fought a war for independence over a 10 percent tax rate. And why EXACTLY is it that Yanquis are leaving the Northern states by the thousands?? It ain't because they like 90° heat.
I don't consider this current state of affairs to be called 'Freedom.' Not even by the relative standards I have seen within MY lifetime. I have watched our freedoms be taken from us for 35 years. How much longer will you be content to stand idly by and watch that happen??
At what point would you consider leaving??
It reminds me of the farmers in Zimbabwe. The writing was on the wall, and even if they couldn't take their belongings with them, they could have escaped tyranny with their lives.
I am not saying that we are approaching anything like that, but that is the reason you WOULD want to leave before things go to be too bad, and while you still had some economic power. Being a separatist with NO assets or resources wouldn't be fun, I don't think.
I see no other way you could start a new one. Unless George knows some good arms dealers who have stinger missiles for sale, on the cheap.
Maybe the DOD will loan us an Aegis based Destroyer until we can get situated.
I do propose to do that. Elsewhere.
That is not the war to be fought. For ten thousand years men have understood that the smart worker bees are in charge and the trash people with no smarts or desire to work must either tug the forelock and do as they are told or die. A couple of times in history, during the last days of the Roman Republic and Now, the trash has found a way to take control. The war is to turn things back over.
Havenots who want to work will become haves once the trash has been taken out.

Volatility is good for the traders, and bad for the investors.
Institutionalized trading and program traders wouldn't be the cause for some of this volatility, now would they??
The market is based on companies' FUTURE earnings potential.
Not hardly, I just intend to open a new front in that war.
I think Socialism's goal is to end that struggle.
Individualists make no moral judgment regarding a person's wealth. (Unless they did evil things to acquire that wealth) I am GLAD that people have managed to get ahead.
So far, you have tried to make me fear the environment. Then it was hostile people who don't like us, then it was the fear of poverty, or class envy...
Don't you have anything to bring to the discussion besides fear??
The market is no more volatile on a percentage basis than it was in the '70s when it was in the 600 range. The numbers are bigger, but the percentages are the same.
