Illegal 'accounting irregularities' at some companies do NOT make the 'whole market a lie.'

True it doesn't make the whole market a lie .. but the stories I have heard .. many companies do play with the numbers like Arthur Anderson did

Might explain some reasons why the market is a little jumpy these days ..

This simple directive is missing from the market reports:

Volatility is good for the traders, and bad for the investors.

Institutionalized trading and program traders wouldn't be the cause for some of this volatility, now would they??

The market is no more volatile on a percentage basis than it was in the '70s when it was in the 600 range. The numbers are bigger, but the percentages are the same.
