When in Kansas City, I always visit Keegan's for BBQ.

I'll be rooting for ABT at the Masters.

I was thinking the same thing this morning, they would have saved a lot of people a lot of grief. He wouldn't have married poor Diana, Camilla wouldn't have married Andrew P-B, and they wouldn't have put a lot of people through so much trouble. It's been hard on all their children, you can see that. Camilla's son is a real troublemaker, unless he's straightened himself out by now. I guess when you're royal or aristo, you can break all the rules!

I wonder if Camilla being Catholic had anything to do with it all those years ago. It was forbidden at the time for a British royal to marry a Catholic so maybe they just had no other way around it. I didn't even know she was RC till today when I heard it mentioned on tv. Interesting, though, isn't it, that her g-grandmother was Mrs. Kepple, who was Charles's g-g-gf Edward VII's mistress?

Arthur Bryant's is good also...It will be interesting to see how John Daly's game reacts to the longer course-he may have an advantage on some of the holes if he can hit it straight and play a shorter iron shot.

Daly's been playing pretty well of late. Can't write off Vijay, either.

It would be a great story to see John Daly chain smoking his way to a Masters title.

Of course FR always roots for our very own Mr. Stewart Cink!!

How about a three-way playoff with John Daly, Tiger, and Stewart?

Ol' Crusty alert, from Cindy Adams, NY Post:

THE late Lew Rudin's ABNY, now chaired by son Billy Rudin, had a Hillary breakfast. Even her aides wore that omnipresent black. Even black stockings when no pants suit. About this seemingly required uniform, the Senator laughed: "Well, it's not mandatory. You don't have to wear black but it's the most efficient way to get through the day." What we didn't get to talk about but what I know, is that she'd just come from the Dominican. Oscar de la Renta's home. Holidaying with the husband, the daughter and the maybe son-in-law-to-be.

She also reports Martha Stewart is looking to buy the bankrupt KMart.

Political scoop from Neal Travis, NY Post. Despite ideological differences, Liddy Dole has called on Rudy Giuliani for help, and Giuliani will campaign for her if he can fit it into his busy schedule. So what is the GOP going to do for Rudy in return for his saving the party? We've all canvassed the idea of his being Dubya's 2004 running mate, but this isn't a starter. The wildest rumor now doing the rounds is that around September, President Bush will offer Gov. George Pataki a "significant" Cabinet post and Rudy will step in and run as a kind of white knight for the New York governorship, a job he really wants.

Looks like a meet the parents session in the ultra secret Dominican Republic before the engagement.

I've heard Pataki as a ambassador somewhere, but not cabinet.
