I was watching the queen's funeral this morning, and saw Laura Bush. Oh my, she looks beautiful.

Camilla was INVITED by the Queen, as a friend of the Queen Mother's, which she was. There was discussion on MSNBC this morning that Charles had not been able to marry Camilla because she is Catholic, and as a heir to the throne his marriage to a Catholic has been forbidden by an act of Parliament for several hundred years. There was speculation that this was why the Archbishop of Westmenster had participated in the service.

I am only reporting what was said, not sure if it is accurate, since I also heard them say that the pallbearers were generals, and looking at their youth it was quite obvious they were not.

I see Laura had on black gloves as well. Highly appropriate, and answered a question a friend asked me...I could not see her hands when she was in the Abbey.
