Looks like I'll be spending even less time around here for at least the next little while. I'll be on-site out at NASA working a new contract. Just stopped in this morning to say hi to everyone.
I am just more than disturbed over this whole issue and the way it is being played out. NONE Of this is NEWS...not the "indicidents", not the "coverups"..and while not condoning it, I just find it unsettling that so much attention is being paid to it NOW...as if the Catholic Church is the only one that attracts these types, be they pedophiles or plain adulterers.....i could go on...but I won't.

I think perhaps Britain is beginning to realize the value of faith and tradition. The crowds expressing respect for the Queen Mother were much larger than expected.
Also, the commentator said that the Queen Mother had a piper play for her EVERY day! A true Scot, for sure!

I personally think that the Catholic Church is the target du jour, probably because the Protestants have already been derailed as an effective voice in public life.
All who abuse their positions need to be gone from the pulpit. Period.
I think the British are beginning to remember what they were. Interesting that some of the crowd paying respects were the purple hair-nose ring kids. I found that quite touching.
