Good monday morning, rohry. I taped the film las evening. Nova a few weeks ago had a fascinating two hour account of Shackleton's voyage. It's an absolutely amazing story of the power of leadership in the face of the direst situtions and impossible odds. Shackleton's astounding voyage surpasses even the fabled journeys of Jason and Odysseus. It should be included in leadership studies at all levels.

I understand that NE Patriots coach Bill Belechak used the film and frequent alusions to Ernest Shackelton to hold his team together during the difficult days of their ultimately triumphant season.
