In the light of day I would have to say that the jello lip experiment was a bust. I am anxiously awaiting my Lip Secret Lipstick to come in the mail. Let's see if that works.

I did find the great mascara in the world. It lasted all day in Italy. L'Oreal Le Grand Curl. No more racoon eyes.

Good afternoon everyone:

Yesterday Mr. Teacup called me at around 2PM and asked me if I wanted to go see Carlos Santana at the MCI center in DC. It seems some people at his work bought a row of tickets for themselves and their friends, and 1/2 of them bailed out at the last minuet. So Mr. Teacup and I said, "Yeah, we'll go!" We left at 4:30 P.M. and got home at 1 A.M. Man am I dragging today, LOL,LOL. Just happy to be back on FR today.

I wish Santana would play his old tunes alot earlier. Us old folks need to get our sleep, LOL. He waited until the end to play his classics. We had a good time.

Did ya all hear "Crazy Rita" on Rush today? Oh boy, that woman is nuts.

Hi Betty - your home sounds lovely. We have a similar spot where Mrs. lodwick put a silk ivy type thingie, with the runners trailing down - kinda cool, and very low maintenance.

Oh no, don't hold your breath. It takes me forever to get it "just right"! I fret and fuss and hem and haw, move things here, move things there, then after objects have remained in one particular place for more than a day I decide that's the place. I will take pic's when it's done, although pic's don't do the furniture justice.

We're so glad you're computer problems are fixed, it's not the same around here without you! :-)

Speaking of weddings and what kids do to their parents, do you remember a few short years ago Joan Rivers spent an absolute fortune on Melissa's wedding. It was held in a NY hotel and they duplicated a Russian courtyard or something. It was really quite nice - Joan's dress had an ermine trim and Missy wore Vera Wang?

Well, she and hubby are now separated...After all that planning and money, the marriage did not even last five years....Of course the fact that MIL Joan moved very near to them last year to be close to her grandson might have something to do with it.

I'm still trying to formulate the right words for an email to that Maria Mann concerning the "award" winning photo. It's going to take a few more hours to calm down long enough to write something that isn't a violent threat on her life.

Maybe this kind of filth goes over big in France, where women on the trains regularly get groped and sexually assaulted on a daily basis because the cars are so crowded. But here in America we take a dim view of that kind of behavior and we don't need pictures to help us understand what was going on. That fact that it won an award over pic's of the airliners slamming into TWC screams they're all about sensationalism and not much else.

I wouldn't have thought so either, except that my desk was right next to the scanner and we heard plenty of "private" conversations. Word to the wise ...

Well don't feel like the lone stranger, mine is doing wierd things all the time. Then I ask my son to help and he sits down pushes a few buttons and viola! it's fixed. Which is great unless he's at school, then I have to wait until he comes home. (and I can't tell you how much it frosts me that it seems so simple and I'm helpless)

We shall keep the home fires burning until you return! :-)
