I first heard it from McCarthy back around 94 or 95 to start the UFC matches. He always pointed at one corner - Are you ready, than the other Are you ready, and the match starts with "Let's get it on."

Please understand that a few of us didn't see the "other thread" and, to us, this thread seemed to come straight out of the blue.

That's why it seemed somewhat amusing, especially seeing the (seemingly) out of place profanity and hysterics.

Perhaps, it would be helpful if someone would explain exactly what-the-sam-hill happened instead of just complaining about a deleted thread. What was the thread about? Was anyone being racist or attacking another poster, or what?
