There's One more that I just thought of but I can't remember the name of it so I will just describe it.
A sitcom set in the office of a radio station(not WKRP!)and starring phil hartman, the SNL guy that was recently(?) killed by his wife.
I have two favorite episodes. The first is the one with the guest appearance by James Caan. The other one is the episode where the electronics wizard builds a stun gun for phil and phil uses it on himself to see if it works.

I think that show is News Radio.
It sort of fell apart after Phil was killed. They attempted to replace him with that extremely annoying comic who makes a lot of phone company commercials.

The other one is the episode where the electronics wizard builds a stun gun for phil and phil uses it on himself to see if it works. I think you are mixing up two different shows. I can't remember the name of either right now,but the one with Phil Hartman brought in Jon Lovitz to try to save the show after Hartman was murdered, but that didn't work. The guy that hosts "Fear Factor" was on the show, and so was Dave Foley and Andy Dick. The other show (stun gun) stars David Spade and is still on the air.
