Ssssssh. That makes me especially nervous since there is one very near me. I looked into it locally a few months ago and was assured that every precaution was being taken and that they were not at liberty to discuss it further with the public. I had been concerned about the possibility of a small plane flying into a power plant. I was told the no fly zone was greater than I'd anticipated and it was well enforced. Of course, I also live slapdab in the middle of several important petro chemical installations and in a major port city as well. Some of the added safeguards at those facilities are visible and I'm happy about that. :)

Boy, Darlin, you have to think for them once in a while, huh?! People who know me can interpret me pretty well. I just slam some words here and there and they know exactly what I am saying (or what I mean.) All my grandkids' names become my usernames. I'm not original!

brrrr... it's cold here. I'm sure in July I will miss the cool temps, but right now I wouldn't mind some warmth. I am so difficult to please.

Hi Jaidyn - a fourth grandchild. That's great! I am not anxious for grandchildren at all. My sons don't even have girlfriends, so I'm not worried about it now.

There you go again... LOL. I think we're supposed to get the same cold stuff by tomorrow. It's been great here today. Surprisingly, it didn't get cooler as soon as the sun set. I have on shorts and I still have some of the doors open.

Oh my - if you want to read how well GW signing CFR is going over just flip over to the "Bush Signing Campaign Finance Bill" - The comments are except for about 2 people - quite drastic!! I was afraid of this. Many say he's a Liar, they will in no way vote for him again, he's a one-termer, etc. etc. I had an awful feeling about this. I just want to know why?? Why couldn't he have vetoed it??

Same here. It is sounding like the concern is more internal than over the possibility of crashing planes into the buildings. Our politcally correct tippy toing around these people is beyond tiresome. If they get offended, oh well. Give them the option...put up with being offended or get out! Hint...most of the rest of us are more than a little offended by the thought of people who get their kicks blowing up our buildings and killing innocent people.

Just a note on todays dose of SPAM

Amazon anounced that 'Seabiscuit' by Laura Hillenbrand is out in paperback. This is the best animal story in years, about probably the best racehorse that ever lived. If you like animals, or have a child around who loves animals, this is a must read.

On a slightly different note I got SPAM from a Bestiality Porn site. Even I thought that was illegal, or ought to be.

I think he could ease a lot of minds by addressing the people on cfr. I am upset, too, because I don't know his real intentions and a president is (or should be) obligated to be upfront on issues he knows means a lot to us. Whether he is playing politics is a moot point as far as I'm concerned because I don't like anyone playing politics with the Constitution. It's too dangerous.

Bush can't win on this.

The vast majority of voters do not understand the issues and would not listen if you tried to explain them. All they would hear was the sound bite He vetoed Campaign finance reform and that would sink him since most people favor reform. It does not make any difference if the bill makes it worse instead of better, because the voters will not listen to or understand the explanation.

If every person in the country who understands this bill and opposes it votes against Bush it will cost him less than 2%
