Thank you, sl. Sugary white sand, turquoise and emerald sea, 78 degrees, a gentle breeze and pure sunshine followed by deep orange sunsets on royal blue water: I could have stayed right there forever.

I was about 10 miles west of Panama City. I am not sure whether that part of the coast is still considered Panama City Beach or something else.

Have you ever driven out to Crescent Beach? As I recall it's just a ways south of Jacksonville. It's one of my favorites, that and Jekyl Island. I love those quiet and semi deserted beaches which those 2 have been every time I've ever been.
