I don't use them. Name a popular song from the 50's thru 80's and you can find it on the net.

Give me a song and I bet I can find it.

P.S. have you tried Spinner

Thanks for your welcome and informative post! Morpheus was just the ideal file sharing program, but I agree totally that their new upgrade is worse than horrible. I will try out some of these suggestions today.

On a related note, what's the best way to adjust volume while ripping CD's? I have a RioVolt SP100 and have found it somewhat annoying that compilation disks have recording levels that vary all over the place. Also, what's the best way of splitting/joining MP3's?

Also while we are on this topic - does anyone know how to send an MP3 file in an e-mail.

No, but if you find out, will you tell me? :~D

Try using a file compression program like Winzip. Others are available as well.

You can simple create a new .zip file, which your recipient can open with any compression software program (Winzip does both compression and decompression - zip and unzip)

After you've created the new .zip file, the program gives you the opportunity to add multiples files to it. Add what you want and the program will compress those files to a default size - usually 30% smaller. Save this new file to a location where you can easily find it and send your email.

You can send sound, photo, and other things with this same methodology.

If you need to try a Winzip type program, go to a place like www.download.com, do a search for "zip" and choose a program to try, which best fits your needs.

I like winzip because it's relatively cheap to buy, it gives you updates free for years thereafter and has a simple, easy to use interface.

Heres one...see if you can find it, because I sure cant...about 12 yrs ago, down in Oregon, I heard a local group sing the song 'Waltzing with Bears'...I just loved that song, and was disappointed when I could get no information on it....then several years after that I was at a county fair, and there was a type of folk group that was performing and they sang 'Waltzing with Bears'...

After the group finished up on stage,, I went and talked to one of the singers...she had a printed copy of the words, which I believe are actually from Dr. Seuss....she gave me the copy, which I still have....but I have never been able to find the song, whether in tapes, CDs, or in midi form, or from anywhere on the internet...

If you can find music for me, I will be one happy gal...

Eureka!!!!!I am a happy lady......I did as you suggested and downloaded, and voila, I have my song...the only drawback is that he sings just the first verse, but hey, I am not complaining, to the contrary, I am in heaven...Now I have this song for my very own...I was sitting here at the computer, singing along with the song, and my poor hubby thinks I have hit the sauce early in anticipation of St Pattys day...hubby works nites, and sleeps days, so he woke up to the strains of my singing 'Waltzing with Bears'...he thought he was still dreaming...LOL....many thanks, I so love this song..
