Yeah, that's what I thought he was driving at. Those old SF guys invented a lot of things. That's one reason why I find a good old SF book is a treasure trove. Today so many are depressing lesbian propoganda. There are joyous exceptions, but.... oh well, times will change!
Today so many are depressing lesbian propoganda.Agreed. I don't read a lot of modern SF&F because so much of it seems to include sexual situations, not to advance the plot or help define characters, but just because the author wants to titillate (or prove they're "adult").
