Good morning, hope you manage to avoid the stomach flu!

I'll let you know when I get some of Connie Willis' books (maybe this weekend). I'm wondering what other SF&F authors you enjoy reading... maybe we have some that overlap (besides JRRT, I mean!) :)

Other SF&F? Well, there's Heinlein. I really like him. Some of Asimov's and Clarke's, not all. Charles Sheffield, Niven and Pournelle, and James Hogan for hard science fiction. Tad Williams and George R. R. Martin write some incredible epic fantasy/sciencefiction/hard to classify stuff. I love 'Dune' and its prequels, but not the sequels. Keith Laumer's a new acquaintance. John Ringo, for military sf. Orson Scott Card, some of his stuff.

Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head, the ones I really tend to love. Have you read any of them, you or anyone else here?
