I just had a crazy thought.......music theater is one of my favorite things in the whole world...........(I've been rehearsal/performance pianist for over 50 amateur musicals.)

......How long before we have....."LORD OF THE RINGS; THE MUSICAL"???????

THEN we'd get to hear some of those cool Hobbit & Bombadil songs.;^)

Does anyone know..............have any of the LOTR lyrics been set to music by anyone, at any time, for any purpose??? Just curious..........what a fascinating project that would be............

Just to interrupt with a question. Does anyone know if the next films will follow the book format or go chronologically from one group of characters to another? By book format I mean follow the adventures of what is left of the fellowship then go back and follow Frodo and Sam from when they crossed the lake.
