Heh, yes - I'd prefer he finished the series before I died, too! Any chance he'll kill Sansa this book? He seems to be killing off characters at a good rate, which I admire. It's definitely one of the best fantasy series I've read in years. Maybe the best if you call Otherland SF.

Not any time soon. Those vying for the throne have a better chance of dying.

I hate the Sansa character too. However, Martin pointed out in an email that she wasn't entirely responsible for Ned's death.

My favorite character is Sandor Clegane. He fits the archetype of The Stranger perfectly.
