Hubby is in the Army, but will be getting out soon. I'm a civilian scientist and battled my way in. They've upped the accumulation forcast to maybe 12 inches, but the forcasters are known for hyperbole. Out of four "major winter storm events" (last winter and this one) it has only snowed once. Heh Heh Heh

Ah! - well, 12 inches is also a lot of snow!.

I had heard the forecast of 1" of snow for today here in MA, but they didn't mention the 4-6" coming later tonight!

Have you seen the doppler radar for this storm; it is HUGE!! I just checked our local radar and there is cloud cover from the NY Line all the way south to DC!

Well, I'm needed urgently at the grocery store! Gotta get some extra milk, etc. The nice thing about winter up here is we have a second refrigerator, a NATURAL one!
