I'm not actually sure where I stand on the Iraq war, although it is clear to me that the world would be better off without Hussein.

Right before the Gulf War, he very nearly became one of the great powers in the world...would have if he'd conquered the Saudis, thus controlling most Middle Eastern oil, and then developed a bomb.

Yeah.... would have been worse, certainly. I wouldn't be out for Saddam's head on my own, but I trust the president. Have to. I trust him to know more than I can about what the real threat is to us. So if he says go, I support it. Wimpy I know, but I don't have expertise in this stuff. I don't know it all.
