Yeah.... would have been worse, certainly. I wouldn't be out for Saddam's head on my own, but I trust the president. Have to. I trust him to know more than I can about what the real threat is to us. So if he says go, I support it. Wimpy I know, but I don't have expertise in this stuff. I don't know it all.

Well, the French had a chance to stop Hitler with very little effort and maybe no loss of life, but didn't want to take a chance. If they could have seen in the future, they'd have probably taken the chance.

W, I believe, sees the U.S., as I do, as being mortally threatened by Islamic terrorists. He wants to do whatever may be necessary to end the threat to insure our survival. If these people would kill 3000 of us and dance with joy over it, there's probably not much doubt they'll do worse one day.
