The only thing my cat has to have is Pounce. He's thoroughly addicted. He acts like Gollum with the precious. It's amazing.
I'm the kind of shopper who goes to the store once every pay period (2 weeks). So, as long as it storms on the right Thursday, I'm saved.
Right now, I have plenty of milk, bread, meat, candy, pop, cat food, and pounce. I can weather this storm (no accumulation, but you'd be surprised at the panic).

The only thing my cat has to have is Pounce. My in-laws used to put my wife on the speaker phone so both could hear. I'd get on our other line and rattle a Pounce can and drive their cats crazy (the cats used to live with us...long story).

I think we're supposed to get a cold nassty rain here tomorrow morning. Kitty has to have wet food. She doesn't care much for treats.
I should be okay, I just bought coffee yesterday and the milk is good until the 30th. I haven't done the shopping for Thanksgiving dinner yet. I have to call the house this afternoon and (sigh) see if I can get coordinated with the siblings.

They have Krogers in Cincinnatti?
Hope the lines won't be too long. You should see the grocery stores in Miami when there's a hurricane watch up.
'Course after Hurricane Andrew blew thru here in '92 there weren't any grocery stores, gas stations, liquor stores or much of anything else even in a condition to operate, within quite a few miles, for at least a week.

I can see if you lived in a blizzard area, you'd want to stuff your pantry (used to live in Colorado) but these southern winters have mini-storms at best. And yet, these same panic shoppers don't wear winter coats! (I guess I'll always be the out of place yankee.)
