Yes, that needs some... clarifying, I'd say. Personally, like carton, I couldn't care less why they did it, I want to get rid of them all so they don't do it again. There is no valid reason for what they did, therefore their motivations are irrelevant.

No. Nothing justifies murdering innocent people.

I'm saying the reasons why are important -- so history isn't repeated. The foreign policy of our government isn't entirely innocent. Throughout the Cold War we interferred in the internal affairs of many countries. (Propping up dictators friendly to us, etc.)

It may have been necessary then, but it has earned us lots of enemies now. To continue on like this could cause even more problems.
