Grrr... you should be smited! As soon as I find a picture of a big Elf with a shining sword, or even a Hero, I'll have you smote so hard your eyes will cross! Don't criticize anything Tolkien! Besides, it isn't that dry. Not after you've read something like The Illiad or Kalevala.
