It has been a slow two days in the Hobbit Hole, hasn't it?

Last night, my daughter and I got to see the boys choir that sang on the FoTR soundtrack. They are the London Oratory School Schola and were singing in Worcester. They did Church music written by British composers, and they were wonderful! If you closed your eyes, you'd swear you were listening to angels. I don't know if the boy who did the solos on the Soundtrack was there last night. He's probably not one of the boy sopranos anymore; they have a short 'shelf life' before they move into puberty and their voices change. But there were plenty of other voices; altos, tenors and basses. There are 20 young boys from the school who form the higher voices of the Schola, then the older boys sing the lower parts, with a couple of older (late 20s and 30s)professional singers in there as well.

Sounds neat Suzi! - But they didn't do the song from FoTR... just other selections? Glad you had a good time there!
