Let me know how it's going, then! I'm working at mine; I think I figured out a rationale for why this whole thing starts (rather than just "because" or throwing in some predistination thing)

I think I have a bit of a head-start actually... this is a story I've been thinking about for a long time. I already had the characters worked out, and a plot outline. But as I thought about it this morning, I realized that the story was too short. The outline, as far as it went, was fine, so I spent some time today adding on to it. Which worked out well because the scenes that I've been running through my mind recently were past the end of my old outline.

Have I mentioned that this story is the first of a series I've been wanting to do?
