Yes, I am looking at one of them now! The stories are read by Christopher Timothy, who played James Herriot in the TV series.

I think you could find them at book stores that have a lot of audio tapes. There were literally dozens of them... Each tape containing a few different short stories. Look for them under James Herriot.
