It woke me up instead.... I have the new sound system on, and I still love my new tv.. and well, here I am.
Cripes! - Frodo and Sam met up with Merry and Pippin, and the creepiest black rider you ever saw came up the road! They all hid, He almost found them! He got down off his horse, and bent down over where they were, and I think he was sniffing.... Eeeeek!
LOL! I know what you mean. I was nodding off here at the computer about an hour ago, then decided to call my sister to see how Mama is doing at the nursing home. It is near our hometown, so she's near her family, our cousins, etc. One of my cousins went out there today with her twin 10 yr. old girls to visit. She went to Mama's room expecting her to be in the bed, half comatose, which is how she had been in the hospital last week. Mama wasn't there, so my cousin followed some singing down to the common room. There was Mama sitting in her wheelchair watching the goings on with a smile on her face! When she saw my cousin, she got an even BIGGER smile on her face, and remembered her name!! My cousin was just thrilled! So are we! We don't know how long she'll be with us, but at least we know she's happy where she is.
We couldn't have put her in this place, even 6 months ago; she was still too aware of where she was. She knew she was at her house, and it would have been very traumatic to put her somewhere where she didn't know the people, because she still had enough of her wits about her to know that she wasn't completely well and she was embarrassed about it. Now she's free of that burden of awareness and is just living day to day.
It sure relieves US to know that she's doing so well. There's no way she could go back home with the amount of care that was needed now. The caregiver just couldn't do it by herself, but she's been such an angel to this point! God truly Blessed us when she came to live with Mama. So now she's free to be able to help others in a similar situation which is what she said she'd like to do, although on a 9-5 basis, not a live in situation again.
So here I am, nodding off again. Night all!
Hello, everyone. That's one of my favorite scenes. I like where Frodo's eyes roll back up in his head, it's dramatic. + the spiders and centipedes!
I'm back from Charleston, S.C., I hadn't realized it was such a beautiful place. There's good restaurants there, too.
Anyway, I'm behind on posts, so I'll try to look back a little.
