I pictured
lembas as being like a sort of thin cookie "bar", about a fourth inch thick, stacked like graham crackers in the mallorn leaf wrappings. Sweet and crumbly, but uniform in consistency, which is why I have a problem with the raisins in this recipe. The color is well described...light gold on the outside, cream colored on the inside.
It sounds so good, I wish I had one right now! Bet they'd be great with a cup of coffee!
