Michigan is beautiful, at least the Upper Peninsula is. Northern Minnesota is ok, but the southern part is flat as a platter. Haven't been to North Dakota, but South Dakota was flat for half the state, then hilly once you get to the Black Hills. Not many trees there as I recall, though.
