Connie Willis is up for best novel, as usual when she has a new book out... I think she's won about 7 but she deserves them all, and her latest, "Passage" was incredibly good. Near Death Experiences, the Titanic, literature, love, death, poetry - it was one of my favorite books this year.

As Jen has reminded me, the 60th Annual World Science Fiction Convention (WorldCon) is being held this weekend in San Jose, CA. The Hugo Awards are presented each year at the WorldCon, for achievement in the realm of Science Fiction. Our Favorite Movie has been nominated for the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation.
