Hey. Glenn Beck is talking about this. Have you guys heard of
Movie Mask?
Apparently you can take any movie and edit out the sex, nudity, violence, language (you program). Example Beck used was Titanic, which we were talking about the other day.
Web site mentions Saving Private Ryan, but I figure with that one, once you edit out violence and language, you're pretty much left with the cemetary scene...
Just wondering what y'all thought...

Hi, there, friends. Class starts in five so I thought I'd just help you toward the zeroes...

It would keep 2J from having to cover Matthew's eyes during the beheading!
I guess they go through movies and decide on edit points, and through a subscription, you download these codes and it plays edited on your computer.
I think if you set it for "violence" it will edit out pre-determined scenes judged to be too violent. It isn't automatic.... but it is a tool, I guess, if folk want to see the cleaned up version for the kids!
What it says to me is, in the future, a rated R move could be sold on DVD with Menu settings available for anyone to choose a PG or G cut. Interesting. They couldn't do that with tape.
