Every other nurse admitted they wouldn't have even checked. The "machine" doesn't make mistakes. Thing is, the med that was wrong was the last one of the packet. Someone else had given that wrong med earlier in the day.
I'm just an "as needed" nurse...so I didn't go back for a long time after that. But med error sheets were certainly written up on more than a few people.

Every other nurse admitted they wouldn't have even checked. I have been hospitalized a number of times. I always question every pill I get (I get about a dozen different pills a day). I have caught them making errors a few time. Concentrates the mind, let me tell you.

Hi, there. Big "ok we're really a university now" party at school, loads of fun. I had to walk up to school, almost a mile from the parking garage and uphill. Really uphill, like a 80 degree angle. But I'm happy. Work was... work, and isn't it Friday yet?
