Yes, I've heard great things about the Inglis one. I got Matthew the Ian Holm one, (he's only six, after all...LOL), but I intend to get him the Inglis one eventually. They sell the entire trilogy at the bookstore for about a $100 I think.

I have considered reading the trilogy to Matthew and simply recording myself reading it. What a daunting task! But then he would have his mother reading her favorite book to him for the rest of his days.

Now THAT is a wonderful idea. It wouldn't do for me to try that though. Somehow I don't think Tolkien's quasi British countryside tale would sound too good coming from this native Mississippian! Though I must admit, I do a fair job on the Redwall tales!
