Ack! Spit, choke!! I HATE turnip greens! I may be a GRITS (Girl Raised in the South), but I never could abide turnips, collards, etc. They were always way too bitter for me. I never liked spinach until I was grown, bought it for myself and discovered the joys of spinach salad. Mama always cooked it until it was a gooey slimy mess! Daddy ate it with scrambled eggs! ARRGH!
