Well, I finished reading
A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin last night, he hasn't even finished the sequel (which apparently won't be the final one either), so that kind of sucks. At least I'll get sleep though.
Sounds silly for a guy my age to be enjoying fantasy like that, but Martin can write...(He won't be the groundbreaker or as beloved as JRRT is, but still...).

Sounds silly for a guy my age to be enjoying fantasy like thatI don't think it sounds silly at all! I expect to be reading fantasy and science fiction all my life. I just hope I find some new writers to read...

Whoo! I love George R R Martin. Well, too much sex, really, but otherwise it's a great series. Except I always skip the bits with Dany, as I can't stand her. Most of the other characters are great, but I get in arguments with people because I refuse to like the Lannisters because they're evil. Even the midget. And I think Sasha got what was coming to her. Martin's one of the best there is right now... have you read Tad William's Otherland? If not, you should.
