OT, thanks for the sunrise pic, the Precious pic, and the new Goldberry pic! I think I like this one better than the previous one... although she looks a bit, apprehensive, shall we say? at the thought of having to feed four wandering Hobbits... :)

Good morning, you two... sounds like you had a great time last night! Your Blue Mouse theater reminds me of the little theater that was in my home town when I was growing up. It was called the Delft, built in the mid-20s also, I believe... spent many a fun Saturday afternoon in that building. Years later, after it had been replaced by a parking lot (sigh) I couldn't help but look at that lot and wonder how what had seemed like such a big building had fit in that little space...

Hi Jen. Just finishing up Sunday stuff. Races are over, laundry is started, plants are watered, computer tasks done. Nothing else is going on right now.

Anybody out there have some Hobbit recipes? Do Hobbits taste better fried in batter or oven roasted? Personally I favor the "buffalo wings" style of serving up Hobbits. Dip their big feet in batter and fry them up. After cooking up Hobbit's feet, dip them into a hot sauce bowl. Goes great with beer.

Slow day at the Hole... but a busy day here, of both doing chores and relaxing (not at the same time). Slowing down to just relaxing now, though.

Since no one responded, not sure if we have abandoned the idea of a thread change, and agreed more or less to do it after the DVD release in August. In any case, I think that we do agree that a celebration will be in order when we hit the quadruple '0', which will almost certainly be Tuesday. Looks like us fathers had the kind of Father's Day, we like, nice and quiet, and the mothers, daughters and sons all joined in. See you this week.
