Hullo LCS! I don't have a doggie door because my biggest dog is so big I could crawl through a doggie door made for him. I might has well just leave the door open for intruders! - If I had only small pets, I would go the doggie door route!

Right now she's curled up next to me. She'll be ready to go out about the time I want to go to bed. :)
The plan is to replace the deck with a screened porch and a pet door between the house and the porch so Her Majesty can take the air without my worrying about other critters making themselves at home!

The Bridge of Kazad-Dûm you mean like that?
I just use a numerical keyboard-combination to get a û
hold down the "alt" key and type 0251.
Does that help?

Yes just like that!
The Bridge of Kazad Dûm
Thanks!

There is a possibility that she might decide to climb up the screens using her claws, which could end up making everyone unhappy.

Can you see the U thingie? I formatted it in MS Word (Insert, Symbol, then select the proper one.) Sometimes it works...

I take it you have to eat them as soon after boiling as possibeI'm not sure about that. It seemed those you got on the side of the road had been sitting there 'stewing' for a while. I've never boiled any myself; Sir SuziQ doesn't like peanuts, so I just never tried it. But I do remember the taste; YUM!

The boys got me a bottle of shower gel from Bath and Body Works How lovely; what 'flavor' is it? I love their 'Tangerine Spice'; not too spicy, not too sweet! And their Plumeria (or Flowering Herbs) is such a romantic fragrance!! If I fly through Atlanta, I always get something for myself at the store in Concourse B!

I'll have to try some boiled peanuts this year. But I do love the smell of roasting peanuts...ranks right up there with the smell of baking bread!

It's called "Moonlight Path". I mentioned that I liked fresia once to Matthew and that it was purple...he got his Dad to get me a purple gel! LOL It's nice.
Matter of fact, I think I'll take a another bath! We just had a major storm...hubby and I had just finished a delightful steak and mushroom dinner with a salad fresh from the garden. We were sitting in the living room, I was sitting on the floor. I truly believe the house was struck by lightning! We saw this flash and instant crash. I was leaning back on my hands and I felt the shock go into my hands and up the back of my neck! My hands tingled for a minute or two afterward.
Anyway, hubby's doing a stormwater collection, so I'm home alone with the boys. They are already in bed so now is the time for a bubble bath!

Goodness! Lightning! - Careful! - Make sure you have got yourself well grounded when you are in that tub! - Tie a copper wire around your ankle and fasten it to the plumbing! (don't listen to me)
To: HairOfTheDog
Thankfully,
the storm seems to have past...but it was a hair-raising event!

That is a pretty good squall line! I do love thunderstorms. In college (Eastern Washington) my room-mate and I would head due-east along I-90 and leap-frog the squall lines that would come through on summer afternoons. We would let them pass over, and then run ahead of them again. Was great sport to be a storm-chaser!
To: HairOfTheDog
I know I would love to be a storm chaser! I'm hoping one of the boys will want to do it and go with me when they get older! LOL
I just finished my soak. Lovely! I have placed those tacky Balantine/Del Ray books with the Shelly Shapiro maps in the bathroom to be read in the tub. The new books are to be read everywhere else and my old '70s books are going to be put away for safe keeping.
So I soaked for about 30 minutes, I stopped reading at the point where Sam feels sick while looking at the Black Gate.
