Penny can get you just about any shot you would like if it was put on film. What more would the shot need to show in order for you to tell us about the quiver?

I don't think it's necessarily the idea that people would think it was about the WTC, but the question is, would they think, "ah, Hollywood is trying to cash in again" just by using the name, regardless of the topic of the movie. This is essentially what that idiot is trying to claim, isn't it? The title was being questioned even clear back in the fall, just before FOTR came out--PJ himself was a little nervous about going ahead with the title. So it's something that might still be on peoples' minds, even if they don't go as far as this moron did in his wild, uninformed speculations.
It's like when someone posts a really stupid conspiracy-theory article here at FR. Maybe it's stupid to begin with, but by the time Freepers are done ripping it to shreds, everyone is far better informed about the topic than they were before it was even posted.
I guess I'm just trying to look on the bright side...it's stupid that he's getting the airtime, but it does put LOTR in the news and it turns around to something positive for LOTR rather than negative. I don't think it's possible to make negative press for LOTR, no matter how hard people try.

Isn't there a peacock on his quiver after Lothlorien? I seem to remember seeing a shot or two of that somewhere, but I'd be happy to try and get a still of it.
Do we want to see what his quiver looked like before Lothlorien, in case they gave him a new quiver along with his new bow?

morons make me cranky.
To: Penny1
The one above is the quiver he was given in Lothlorien... I don't know what osage wants to see...
To: HairOfTheDog
morons make me cranky. Well, I can understand that, and you're certainly allowed to be cranky over morons. ;)
To: osagebowman
The quiver he has from Lothlorien onward has a peacock design on it. Is that what you were asking? I'll try to get a still of it when I get a chance...

To Penny et al, appears the minions of darkness absconded with my previous posting: but here tis again, Hadn't been ignoring anyone's comments, we just got back from our walk. Samantha, our aging Golden/Brittany, must "have her twice daily walk" and we enjoy it as well.
Apparently missed the part of the peacock, (note to self-reread Lothlorien gifting). So it appears we see the tail feathers of the peacock perhaps, which makes sense now after viewing the picture again. Was curious as to how the peacock was stylized or rendered on the quiver. Also seeing if it would be reasonable for me to try it for my next quiver. It might give this grizzled dwarf archer a bit of panache. (p.s. I think the knife sheaths should be attached to the quiver) dvp
