I don't think it's necessarily the idea that people would think it was about the WTC, but the question is, would they think, "ah, Hollywood is trying to cash in again" just by using the name, regardless of the topic of the movie. This is essentially what that idiot is trying to claim, isn't it? The title was being questioned even clear back in the fall, just before FOTR came out--PJ himself was a little nervous about going ahead with the title. So it's something that might still be on peoples' minds, even if they don't go as far as this moron did in his wild, uninformed speculations.
It's like when someone posts a really stupid conspiracy-theory article here at FR. Maybe it's stupid to begin with, but by the time Freepers are done ripping it to shreds, everyone is far better informed about the topic than they were before it was even posted.
I guess I'm just trying to look on the bright side...it's stupid that he's getting the airtime, but it does put LOTR in the news and it turns around to something positive for LOTR rather than negative. I don't think it's possible to make negative press for LOTR, no matter how hard people try.
