It was ok... I'm not a big fan of the Next Generation, but story-wise it held together pretty well. There was some good action and suspense. And, I won't give it away, but there was a somewhat surprising ending... something that changed things in a way that can't be easily unchanged.

I didn't get any sleep the night be for I saw FOTR. The movie is a lot better when you aren't tired.
Today, when I went to pre-purchase tickets the guy asked if I wanted the midnight showing! Last year, the manager at this same theater yelled at me when I asked why they weren't offering a midnight showing for FOTR. (His response suggested he was getting asked this a lot.)
BTW, I tried using the Movie Cash that came with the DVD. They said they wouldn't accept it until the day of 12/18.

I went an hour early last year, to get a nice center seatWe did that last year as well. Our multiplex has stadium seating, and the front row of the 'balcony' has the large rails that you can put your feet up on! That's why we like the front seats. Later on, Clare and I will go see it again and sit way up in the very back. We love the wide view of the screen from back there!

We finally get a positive, and now it may or may not carry to term. I'll keep you and the missus in my prayers. Early on is SO scary, even in the best of circumstances.

I'm not religious, but I'm praying for you guys you, too. Best wishes and best luck, I am hoping for you!

Good night, all.

8:05 and calm now -- less windy than earlier.
Whoa. I used to fish there (and swim :( !). I caught one salmon and 3 cod one day off the Point Defiance Boat House with my dad. That is unreal. There's a lot of scuba diving classes held right off the Ruston Way park. That's way too weird.
To: Scott from the Left Coast
Oh yeah.... It is prime scuba area.... The Narrows is just around the corner, where the octopus watchers come from around the world to dive. And our beach house is just around the corner again, 5-6 miles away on Hale's Pass, on the mainland facing Fox Island.

Good night Sam!

be for Agh... before... I'm going to bed.

So did you get the midnight show tickets then? - Or not? ;~D
Good to know about the movie cash... I plan to use mine later... maybe about the time I decide I have spent too much money going to theater! A free pass!
