heh heh heh... living 100 miles south of Waco, I can appreciate that joke.
Waco is the home of Baylor University.

Hmm... sectarian jokes. Like, how do you tell different sects apart at a ball?
Baptists don't dance if anyone's watching.
Presbyterians don't dance because their fathers didn't.
Catholics don't dance during Lent.
Mormons dance but it's the wrong tune.
Unitarians embrace everyone's dance and says it's all the same thing, really.
Agnostics don't know if they're dancing or not.

It's the story of an elf named Elrond... ....who was bringing up three very snooty elves.

I honestly could not complain about AT&T prior to Saturday. They had something major break that is now taking days to fix. I have not had outages in the two or more years I have had cable, except 24 hours during the fall of @Home. That is why I am taking it so hard. I am having a hard time going back!

Hey cool! I knew about a third of those words!! I always do well on the Reader's Digest vocab. test. But I must admit, they don't usually have lagniappe or Schadenfreude on it!!

And we just got back from the "loser lot" where we grabbed the biggest tree they had... oh well. Awww. Did y'all get a 'Charlie Brown' tree? Hey Jen, just do what I did and do all your shopping online! I've gotten all but about 8 of the gifts (for the other 5 in the family) on the Web! There are lots of places that are now offering free shipping. You still have time to order and get stuff in time for Christmas!
Our youngest son (going on 13) gets excited everytime the UPS truck pulls up. "Is is something for me'?, he asks. Fortunately, he was not in the room when his St. Nick gift arrived, so we got it into the house without him seeing the package. He would have known what it was by the return address. We got him one of those radio control blimps; the one with the envelope that looks like an American Flag. It is a 3 channel blimp so it will go up, down, backwards, forwards, and side to side. He's gonna be SO thrilled!
