The dwarf looks rather constipated.

Gimli is wearing prosthetics. This is constipated:

Wow! That voice is going to take some getting used to, but what lyrics! I like the way the singer refers to them self as "we".

Have you heard the Riders of Rohan on the soundtrack? The violin?

Hang on - I downloaded stuff kinda out of order and I've been listening to them without knowing what tracks I'm hearing. Just putting Riders on...

I know I like "The King of the Golden Hall" and "Forth Eorlingas" a lot!

That violin theme is in "King of the Golden Hall", too - which is why I liked it!

I'm listening to it right now...the violin and then it leads into all the other instruments. It's fantastic.

That must be Theoden's theme....it actually starts at about 2:30 into the song. FANASTIC! I just stood amazed in the livingroom...just stood there. I can't wait to see what's happening!!

Yes...I hear it now...in King of the Golden Hall...it starts up a little less than a minute into the score.

It's very different sounding, isn't it? Old...courtly kind of sound. Medieval, almost.

Hey, Bear - were you the one here who liked Brad Paisley? I've heard his songs on the radio and liked them, but balked at paying $16 for his CDs, which was as cheap as I'd found them, but I picked up both today for $7 each.

I'm generally not much of a fan of modern "country", but I'm impressed! Good song writing, EXCELLENT guitar work.

True...I may be the last hobbit left born in the 40's.

So far, the Rohan related music is my favorite - maybe a close second to the Khazad Dûm track on the first CD (track 13?) - though Treebeard is good, too!

Less than two weeks, now!
