SPOILER: I know.... but we didn't know at first what Faramir was gonna do. Perhaps PJ missed the subtlety there, perhaps he dragged it out to keep suspense up. I hope it will be OK, I want to like Faramir too.

Yes, I'm still with you. After Foundations, I stopped listening and made a CD of it so I could listen on my CD player, instead of on the computer...because one of my speakers is screwy on this computer. I wanted to whole effect, you know? So I'm listening to it now as I work on a rotisserie chicken in the kitchen.

Did you know that Penny and I screwed up and the Cinerama midnight show sold out? I don't remember if I mentioned it. Anyway, I just bought my tickets for the midnight show here in town

. In some respects I am a bit relieved. I was going to need to find a farm sitter to do my evening horse chores for me because the line starts so early up there and it is two hours away. At my local theater I think I can show up an hour (maybe two) early and call it good! Penny and I will get together a couple times later on to see it at the Cinerama, I am sure!

The Extended Edition will still be 10 months away so what will I do to feed my fix? LOL!Hmm. Do you think maybe PJ will release the Extended version a little sooner next year? That would be helpful for all of us waiting with bated breath for RoTK!!

Where are you now? I am listening to 8-Evenstar.
To: HairOfTheDog
I've made it to Black Gate before I stopped it again and put it on the DVD player...the speakers are even better on the TV.

I had thought about getting this book for our dd. It is "The Languages of Tolkien's Middle Earth"; here's the blurb about it from Books A Million. "Explains the fourteen different languages and assorted alphabets of Middle-earth, translates Elvish poetry, war slogans, and sayings, and features a complete dictionary of non-English words in the Middle-earth classics" You can check out the site here.

I sure like Treebeard... The bassoon(or oboe?) and the drums are really cool. Very entish, methinks.

I gotta go!

That would be helpful for all of us waiting with bated breath for RoTK!! Depends on whether I can get ahold of a bootleg....

Do you have Farewell to Lorien?
Unfortunately, no. All I have is the 30-second clipEcurbh, I just tried to download "The Leave Taking" from when you posted the links way back at 43539, but I can't get to it. Could you re-post that link, please? Also, could you post the link to that 30 second clip for "Farewell to Lorien"? I know that's the bonus on the Extended version, and I want to know if it is the song I'm hoping it is. May not be, and I'd like to know before I have the kids spend an extra $10 on the CD.
To: SuziQ
Sorry about the confusion. I moved them over
here. They will be available for a little longer. I don't have the Lothlorien clip up, but it is available at the
SoundtrackNet TTT review page.

Check out my supper. Corn heating on top! Rice on the stove, and garlic toast in the broiler!

AHHH!!
I went to the store for a few minor things and - I hit a car. A scrape, on the bumper, and nothing on my car but I almost freaked out. And now the insurance is going to go up and Mom's probably gonna kill me. Or worse, take away my driving privileges.

Oh no.... How bad of a scrape? - Will the other car's bumper need to be replaced? New car or old one? Is it one of those fake painted non-bumpers?
To: JenB
Your insurance may not go up if it is a good carrier and this is the only claim. You family wreck alot or is this the first time? ;~D
To: HairOfTheDog
It was a really small scrape, about two inches high, maybe, on the other car. And I don't know... she said the car was a lease... no way the bumper will need to be replaced, though, it wasn't dented at all.

This is the first time. But I am only 19, and my 17 yr old sister is also on the insurance, so the rates are already hideous.
