Matthew is finishing up his language arts. I made an artificial frog from a kit that you can disect, so we're going to do that tomorrow. It's got this jelly-like stuff you pour into a mold around the internal stuctures of the frog. Then you take the top off the mold and disect the frog to get to the stuff inside!

I thought I would wait till my neices get here...

Good luck and stay warm. I heard it was cold in Kentucky yesterday, which means the same for Virginia today, I think...and a little cooler here in Miami tomorrow, probably.

Yeah, daughters are a great thing.

It's snowing! Yes, siree bob! That means two things... a run on milk and bread at Krogers, and everybody forgets how to drive.

How I hate the first snow of the year!

"a run on milk and bread at Krogers"

Same thing happens here (Tennessee). Why milk and bread? If the power goes out, so goes the milk. And our "big storms" last a total of 3 days. Do people really live off 12 loaves of bread during that time? (I like to stock up on M&Ms and Doritos)

I forgot about the cat food. In case of emergency, my cat will eat tuna and bagels.

I know!

It is amazing... The first hint of snow and you can't find a carton of milk to save your life. It's truly bizarre. The only thing that is worse is when you have to go to the store because you actually need something and not because you are in survivor mode. Then you have to stand in lines that go down the aisle.

Kitty doesn't understand ice on the road. :)

She'll eat tuna fish in an emergency but it has to be chunk light tuna with salt packed in water. If it's fancy albacore, low sodium, or in oil you can forget it!

The only thing my cat has to have is Pounce. He's thoroughly addicted. He acts like Gollum with the precious. It's amazing.

I'm the kind of shopper who goes to the store once every pay period (2 weeks). So, as long as it storms on the right Thursday, I'm saved.

Right now, I have plenty of milk, bread, meat, candy, pop, cat food, and pounce. I can weather this storm (no accumulation, but you'd be surprised at the panic).

My in-laws used to put my wife on the speaker phone so both could hear. I'd get on our other line and rattle a Pounce can and drive their cats crazy (the cats used to live with us...long story).

I think we're supposed to get a cold nassty rain here tomorrow morning. Kitty has to have wet food. She doesn't care much for treats.

I should be okay, I just bought coffee yesterday and the milk is good until the 30th. I haven't done the shopping for Thanksgiving dinner yet. I have to call the house this afternoon and (sigh) see if I can get coordinated with the siblings.

My cat is so funny. He gets all worried if he thinks you are going to forget to give him pounce (I have never forgotten). He will herd you to the container. The kitten assumes her pounce position... under the table.

My cat has a monkey on his back... and 95% of the time its amusing... the 5% it's irritating as all get out.

I have opted for a dysfunctional thanksgiving with a side order of guilt and a dollop of drama. Yum! Yum!
