Hi, Rosie, nice to hear from you.

I'm glad you're still writing, I like your story.

Hope you get the job!

Hidy ho all! I am exhausted.

Family was here this weekend (my mother-in-law came home with us after the funeral and my wife's sister and husband came to get her this weekend). Rehearsals all day yesterday and today and church and working on the house around that.

I don't have enough brain cells awake to try to write tonite, so I think I'm back to giving up on NaNoWriMo. I'm up to about 23,000 words (I haven't posted them in a while). But I just don't see anyway I can get to 50,000 by next Sunday. Maybe, but I don't think so.

We're going to watch Spiderman tonite. I'm guessing I'll fall asleep not to far in...

Catch you later.

Hi ksen,

Hope your kidney stones will be OK. I know how bad they hurt.

I had one once and thought I was actually dying, it hurt so bad. I figured God was finally calling my number because of all of my years of bad living.

My wife asked if I wanted to go to the hospital, but I told her no, I was hurting too much to get up off the floor.

Later, the doctor told me that those things hurt worse than having a baby. Glad I won't be having a baby.

Please feel better and take it easy.

What are they prescribing for your treatment?

Hello, Corin, it's exhausting just reading about your weekend.

There is a decent wet T shirt scene in that movie, "Spiderman," but I'm not sure it has any other redeeming value. Just kidding, it's not too bad. A "b" movie, I think they call them.

Hope you'll finish the story even if you miss the NaNo deadline.

Dazzle 'em doll! It would be wonderful if you can get that job!

I'm hoping! It's exactly the sort of work I enjoy, and also, as I think I told you guys, the guy who would be my boss (and who will be conducting the interview) is someone I know a little bit - I took some computer classes with him a few years back and really liked him a lot. Seems like the sort of person who would be easy to get along with, in any case. Of course, it's hard to tell until you actually WORK with someone, but I feel pretty positive about what I know about the job so far.

Just wish I didn't have to keep waiting, but I guess it gives me NaNoWriMo time. ;-)

Hope they pass quickly and you have a speedy recovery! Is this something that happens often...? And if so, is there any treatment to keep them from recurring?

Have you heard Alone Again (LP/CD)?

No, I haven't! Actually, I've never heard any of George Jones' albums, only individual songs. But those I've heard, I've liked!

Thanks, Sam! Though I think the quality (if there ever was any) has continued on a downward slope as I approach the deadline...

Thanks, Bear! I just wish I didn't have to wait so long before the interview! On the other hand...if I get that job, I would be one of the ones who got all next week off. I wouldn't complain about that!

Oh, my dad had a kidney stone! He literally collapsed at work and they took him to the ER in the ambulance. They asked to see his insurance card and he threw his wallet at them!

I don't remember what they did, but it seems they removed them somehow or over.

I think they usually just make you drink lots of fluids and hope the stones will pass. If they don't, I believe there is a way to break them up with sound waves.

My doctor, to my delight, told me to drink at least a 6 pack of beer a day + I got Percocet in case I suffered another incident.

One of my buddies told me that they are hereditary and alternate generations with gout. Hopefully ksen's will go away soon.

Sorry I didn't get back to you all yesterday.

Does Cleese have the Bond role?

No, he is Q's replacement and fills the role quite well. During his scene there are tons of homage references to other Bond flicks as well as the Monty Python line. Overall, I found it to be one of the more entertaining of the post-cold war Bond movies.
