Rosie, I was an employment counselor too in a past life, with a particular flair for resumes... if you want me to look at yours or make it pretty, email it to me! Maybe I could do that. Just to your yahoo address? I did have a counselor look at it at one point, though, and she said it was good except that she had me organize my times and places of employment into more of a chart instead of just a list. Organization is not my strong point!
But I guess my biggest problem (far bigger than my resume) is my impatience! I know I've still got plenty of time, and I shouldn't care what people think, but when people hear that I'm "waiting" and treat me funny because they think I'm not doing enough, it bothers me.
Do you want us to have g'nad snuff out the person that got the job already? - We would all do whatever we can to help!
Oh, no! That's OK. ;-) She is a friend...and she was just calling to see how I was doing, but also told me she'd found something. I think she meant to be encouraging...it just wasn't as encouraging as she meant it to be!

Yes... the address at the yahoo site is a good email address... Send it! Make sure you include info about your last job if it isn't on the resume... and I take a look at it and fix up if it needs it!
Perhaps there is a person who you don't like who has a job you want? - We could just have g'nad snuff out that person! ;~D
To: HairOfTheDog
OK, sent it. Please be gentle with me! ;-)
About 950 words now. I'm taking a break. Check in with you guys later! Going to go warm up for awhile. Cold in this room again.

Oops. Didn't work. I can't see all of your other address on yahoo (it hides it, as it does everyone's but my own) so I tried sending it to your yahoo user ID @yahoo.com, but it bounced. Guess I'm not a very techically minded person after all?
To: Overtaxed
1375I hate you.
Am I going to have to get g'nad on your case?
To: RosieCotton
Aw c'mon! You're ahead of me on total words, I think. I actually got to a place where I know what happens.
To: RosieCotton
I thought you could see them. Maybe I am special because I am a moderator ;~D - That hadn't occurred to me. It FReepmailed it to you.

Back...got tea. It's still too hot to drink, though, and I burnt my finger when I was stirring it. (It's a tall travel mug and the spoon wasn't so tall...)
Aw c'mon! You're ahead of me on total words, I think. I actually got to a place where I know what happens.
Actually, I think you may have passed me at this point. I just went over 23100. Pretty far behind my original quota - if I'd stuck with that, I think I'd have passed 30,000 by now. Sigh!
To: RosieCotton
Tea sounds nice, I think I'll be making myself a cup pretty soon. I've got less than 700 words to go for today.
Oohh! A TTT commercial! Oh no. It's an ad for the LOTR Playstation game. The were showing clips from the real TTT trailer.
To: HairOfTheDog
OK, on it's way!
To: Corin Stormhands
Welcome back Corin. The service sounds as though it was very impressive with the horse drawn carriage and Honor Guard.
I'll keep your mother in law in my prayers. I know how hard it was for Mama to lose Daddy so many years ago. When my father in law died, my mother in law was just at a loss to know what to do! It will be good for your mother in law, but maybe hard for you to have her there at your place, but I pray it will work out for all of you.
To: Corin Stormhands
Hi Corin. I'm glad your family's getting through this hard time. If there's anything in particular we can pray for, now or whenever, well... you know where we are. I'm glad you're home safe now.

Hi girls. I got a little over 2000 in today...
here if anyone's interested.
Well, it's definitely downhill from here, but I'm stuck on a plot turn right this minute - see, I've laid out all the foundation work and have planned in my head four more days' stuff - the last four days. Until then, what the heck am I supposed to write?

Until then, what the heck am I supposed to write? Don't ask me. I've got my own plot problems. :)

I'm way behind on reading your story...almost as far behind as I am on my own! ;-)
OK, I haven't done this in awhile, and I'm warning...any attempts at quality have been dropped at this point! But here is another part to my story...
To: Overtaxed; JenB
I still haven't gotten past the introductory stuff. And I have no clue what's gonna happen between introductory and final stuff. I have whole dialogs and scenes thought out for the final chapters, but the middle part is veeerrrrry hazy.
To: Overtaxed
Ok, my story is turning into "Leftover Casserole". I'm reusing all my old worlds as settings, because world building is my weak point.

Rosie, I missed the last part at least. Do you have an index page you can link me to?

Well...the whole story (up until yesterday) is
here, if I did it right. In Word format.
